Tahini Date Truffles

Rich and decadent, these date truffles are the perfect healthy treat! With a crunchy chocolate shell and a silky smooth tahini filling, they are delicious and will satisfy your sweet tooth!

Date Tahini Truffles

Ingredients

  • 12 medjool dates
  • 6 tsp tahini sauce
  • 8 oz dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Use a sharp knife to make an incision from one end of each date to the other.
  2. Lift out the pits and discard them.
  3. Place the dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Fill each date with 1/2 tsp of tahini and put in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and suspend it over a pot of simmering water.
  6. Remove from the heat and stir until the chocolate is smooth and glossy.
  7. Remove the dates from the freezer. Dip them in the melted chocolate one at a time then place them back on the sheet.
  8. Return the dates to the freezer and let chill for 1 hour.

Notes

Serve straight from the freezer or at room temperature.
