Tahini Date Truffles
Rich and decadent, these date truffles are the perfect healthy treat! With a crunchy chocolate shell and a silky smooth tahini filling, they are delicious and will satisfy your sweet tooth!
Date Tahini Truffles
Yield: 12 Truffles
Ingredients
- 12 medjool dates
- 6 tsp tahini sauce
- 8 oz dark chocolate
Instructions
- Use a sharp knife to make an incision from one end of each date to the other.
- Lift out the pits and discard them.
- Place the dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Fill each date with 1/2 tsp of tahini and put in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl and suspend it over a pot of simmering water.
- Remove from the heat and stir until the chocolate is smooth and glossy.
- Remove the dates from the freezer. Dip them in the melted chocolate one at a time then place them back on the sheet.
- Return the dates to the freezer and let chill for 1 hour.

Serve straight from the freezer or at room temperature.
