Nutella Peanut Butter Cookies
Moist and flavorful, these cookies are decadent and addictive! A rich creamy layer of Nutella nests inside a crumbly tender peanut butter dough shell. A heavenly combo that melts in your mouth and hypnotizes your taste buds!
Nutella Peanut Butter Cookies
Yield: 12 Cookies
Ingredients
- 12 tsp Nutella spread
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup caster sugar
- 3/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 4 tbsp milk
- Cocoa nibs and sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shape the Nutella into 12 small balls and place them on the baking sheet.
- Place the sheet in the freezer until the balls are firm.
- Prepare the dough: Beat the butter with the sugars in the bowl of an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in the peanut butter and the vanilla. Add the egg and mix till combined. Fold in the flour and the baking soda then add the milk and knead the dough well.
- Shape the dough into a big ball and place it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
- Roll the dough into 12 equal balls.
- Flatten each ball and place the firm Nutella in the center then wrap the dough around it.
- Gently flatten the cookie again with your fingers.
- Repeat with the remaining dough.
- Place the cookies apart on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle them with cocoa nibs and sea salt and bake in the heated oven for around 15 minutes until golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely at room temperature.
- Transfer them to a jar or a tray and enjoy them alone or dipped in a glass of milk!
