Seafood Hand rolls

Easy to make and loaded with healthy fillings, these hand rolls are customizable and addictive! Your whole family will have fun rolling the roasted seaweed sheets around a bed of flavorful and nutritious ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 8 roasted nori sheets (seaweed sheets)
  • 1/2 cup cooked brown rice or quinoa
  • 1 pound baked salmon (or any other fish of your choice)
  • 1 avocado thinly sliced
  • 1 cucumber thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Place the nori sheets on a working surface.
  2. Divide the cooked rice or quinoa equally among the sheets placing it vertically on the left third of the sheet.
  3. Top with the salmon followed by the avocado and cucumber slices.
  4. Sprinkle with the ginger and the sesame seeds.
  5. Fold the bottom left corner of the sheet over and begin rolling into a cone shape.
  6. Keep rolling and when you reach the end put a few grains of rice or quinoa at the bottom right corner to use as glue and close tightly.
  7. Continue with the remaining nori sheets.

Notes

Serve with wasabi, pickled ginger and soy sauce. Enjoy!
